Did Zakir Naik respond to 25 Quran verses against Waseela?

Did Zakir Naik respond to 25 Quran verses against Waseela?

What happen to the challenge?
As-Sunnah Trust Sri lanka responds to a Video to an unknown up loader who understood that Zakir Naik & IRF cannot show something off from the Quran which they lied upon, therefore He/They made a video, after 1 year……yes your right after 1 year await that some were able to defend Zakir Naik ideology but of a video with really poor taste.
So the challenge is still on!

25 Verses to say Waseelah is haram by Dr Zakir Naik
We thought Dr Zakir Naik and his lovers would repent (like many of his lovers did ALHAMDULILLAH) for the clear Lie with regards to The Holy Quran to say there are over 25 Verses in The Holy Quran which rejects Waseelah for the BELIEVERS, But to see the so called lovers of Dr Zakir Naik are worse than him for coming up with irrelevant Verses IN THE BELOW LINK

before that refer to our link

Their link
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B7M4k-rGm8A

First of all, the up loader has mentioned, Certain Muslims of Sri Lanka, whereas we have openly announced that We are from Assunnah Trust Sri Lanka along with the names and signatures, So come forward if you are truthful with your names and identity.

Secondly, our discussion was very clear to say that Dr, you have mentioned about 25 Verses to say Waseelah is Haram in your lectures, whereas they refer to the Kuffaar, so our question is very clear and written that

WHAT ARE THOSE 25 VERSES OF QURAN WHICH REJECTS WASEELAH FOR THE BELIEVERS ?

REFER TO THE BELOW LINKS
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oO_l9u_a0No&sns=em
Further, the Claim of 25 Verses was for WASEELAH and not for INTERCESSION and his answer on 2 Verses out of those 25 Verses were on Shafa’ath and not on Waseelah which was countered at the same time
And the uploader wrote, “So producing 25 Verses for INTERCESSION” this itself is out of context because our question was on WASEELAH so the answer should be on it.
Now we honestly ask the uploader and the viewers to show a single Verse quoted below by the uplaoder and his team (whoever) to show a single Verse which answers our question given in writing to Dr Zakir Naik

WHAT ARE THOSE 25 VERSES OF QURAN WHICH REJECTS WASEELAH FOR THE BELIEVERS ?

1, [Ana`am 6:51] And with this Quran warn those who fear, that they will be raised towards their Lord in a state when, except Allah, there will be no protector for them nor an intercessor, so that they may be pious.

2, [Baqarah 2:48] And fear the Day (of Resurrection) when no soul will be exchanged for another, nor will any intercession be accepted for the disbelievers, nor will they be set free in lieu of compensation nor will they be helped.

3, [Baqarah 2:123] And fear the day when no soul will be exchanged for another, nor will they be set free in lieu of compensation, nor will any intercession benefit the disbelievers, nor will they be helped.

4, [Baqarah 2:165] And some people create for themselves Gods (objects of worship) other than Allah, with devotion (love) equal to the devotion of Allah; and the believers do not love anybody with love equal to the love of Allah; and what will be their state, when the punishment will be before the eyes of the unjust (disbelievers)? For all power belongs wholly to Allah, and because Allah’s punishment is very severe.

[Baqarah 2:166] (The day) when the leaders will be disgusted with their followers - and they shall see their punishment, and all their links will be cut off.

[Baqarah 2:167] And the followers will say, "If we were to return (to earth), we would break off from them like they have broken off from us"; this is how Allah will show them their deeds as despair for them; and they will never come out from the fire (hell).

5, [Baqarah 2:254] O People who Believe! Spend in Allah's cause, from what We have provided you, before the advent of a day in which there is no trade, and for the disbelievers neither any friendship nor intercession; and the disbelievers themselves are the unjust.

[Baqarah 2:255] Allah - there is no God except Him; He is Alive (eternally, on His own) and the Upholder (keeps others established); He never feels drowsy nor does He sleep; to Him only belongs all whatever is in the heavens and all whatever is in the earth; who is he that can intercede* with Him except by His command? He knows what is in front of them and what is behind them; and they do not achieve anything of His knowledge except what He wills; His Throne (of Sovereignty) encompasses the heavens and the earth; and it is not difficult for Him to guard them; and He is the Supreme, the Greatest. (This Verse is popularly known as Ayat Al-Kursi. It has a special status and reciting it carries great reward. *Prophet Mohammed “peace and blessings be upon him “ will be the first one to be granted the permission to intercede, others will follow.)

6, [Ana`am 6:70] And forsake those who have made their religion a mockery and play, and whom the worldly life has deceived - and advise them with this QurĂ¯¿½an so that a soul may not be seized for what it earns; other than Allah it will not have a protector nor an intercessor; and if it offers every recompense in exchange for itself, it will not be accepted from it; these are the ones who are seized for their own deeds; for them is boiling water to drink and a painful punishment, as a recompense of their disbelief. (The disbelievers will not have any intercessors.)

7, [Ana`am 6:93] Who is more unjust than one who fabricates lies against Allah or says, I have received divine inspiration, whereas he has not been inspired at all - and one who says, I will now reveal something similar to what Allah has sent down? And if you see when the unjust are in the throes of death and the angels are with their hands outstretched; (saying) Surrender your souls; this day you shall be given a disgraceful punishment - the recompense of your fabricating lies against Allah, and your scorning His signs.
[Ana`am 6:94] And indeed you (the disbelievers) have now come to Us alone as We had created you at first, and you have left behind you all the wealth and riches We had bestowed upon you; and We do not see your intercessors along with you, whom you claimed to possess a share in you; indeed the link between yourselves is cut off, and you have lost all what you contended.

8, [Yunus 10:1] Alif-Lam-Ra *; these are verses of the Book of wisdom. (*alphabets of the Arabic language; Allah and to whomever He reveals, know their precise meanings.)
[Yunus 10:2] Are people amazed that We have sent to a man among them, the divine revelation that "Warn the people and convey glad tidings to the believers that for them with their Lord is the place * of truth"? The disbelievers say, "Indeed he is an open magician." (* Positions of honour on the Day of Resurrection or in heaven.)
[Yunus 10:3] Indeed your Lord is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth in six days, then (befitting His Majesty) , established Himself upon the Throne (of control) - He plans all matters; there is no intercessor except after His permission;* such is Allah, your Lord - therefore worship Him; so do you not ponder? ( * Prophet Mohammed (peace and blessings be upon him) will be the first to be granted permission to intercede.)

9, [Yunus 10:18] And they worship the thing other than Allah, which neither harms them nor benefits them *, and they say, "These are our intercessors ** before Allah"; say, "What! You inform Allah of something which in His knowledge does not exist in the heavens or in the earth?" Purity and Supremacy are to Him, above their association. (* Some things like the sun, stars, trees are useful but they too are created by Allah. Their worship will not benefit - in fact it is harmful ** Only the virtuous will be granted permission by Allah to intercede.)

10, [Yusuf 12:40] "You do not worship anything besides Him, but which are merely names coined by you and your forefathers - Allah has not sent down any proof regarding them; there is no command but that of Allah; He has commanded that you do not worship anyone except Him; this is the proper religion, but most people do not know."

11, [Ibrahim 14:21] They will all publicly come in the presence of Allah - then those who were weak will say to those who were the leaders, "We were your followers - is it possible for you to avert some of Allah’s punishment from us?" They will answer, "If Allah had guided us, we would have guided you; it is the same for us, whether we panic or patiently endure - we have no place of refuge." (* This conversation will take place between the disbelievers and their leaders.
[Ibrahim 14:22] And Satan will say when the matter has been decided, "Indeed Allah had given you a true promise - and the promise I gave you, I made it untrue to you; and I had no control over you except that I called you and you obeyed me; so do not accuse me, blame only yourselves; neither can I help you, nor can you help me; I have no concern with your ascribing me as a partner (to Allah); indeed for the unjust is a painful punishment."

12, [b/Israel 17:57] The devoted bondmen whom these disbelievers worship, themselves seek the means of proximity from their Lord, that who among them is the closest (to his Lord), and hope for His mercy and fear His punishment; indeed the punishment of your Lord is to be feared.

13, [Maryam 19:86] And drive the guilty towards hell, thirsty.
[Maryam 19:87] People do not own the right to intercede, except those * who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed - peace and blessings be upon him - will be the first to intercede.)

14, [Ta-Ha 20:109] On that day no ones intercession shall benefit except his to whom the Most Gracious has given permission and whose word He has liked. (The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed - peace and blessings be upon him - will be the first to intercede.)

15, [Ambiya 21:26] And they said, “The Most Gracious has chosen a son” - Purity is to Him! In fact they are honourable bondmen.
[Ambiya 21:27] They do not speak before He has, and they act only at His command.

16, [Shua`ra 26:91] And hell will be revealed for the astray.
[Shua`ra 26:92] And it will be said to them, “Where are those whom you used to worship?”
[Shua`ra 26:93] “Instead of Allah? Will they help you or retaliate?”
[Shua`ra 26:94] So they and all the astray were flung into hell.
[Shua`ra 26:95] And all the armies of Iblis. (Satan)
[Shua`ra 26:96] And they will say, and they will be quarrelling in it:
[Shua`ra 26:97] “By oath of Allah , we were indeed in open error.”
[Shua`ra 26:98] “When we considered you equal to the Lord Of The Creation.”
[Shua`ra 26:99] “And none misled us but the guilty.”
[Shua`ra 26:100] “So now we do not have any intercessors.” (The believers shall have intercessors, the disbelievers none).
[Shua`ra 26:101] “Nor a caring friend.”
[Shua`ra 26:102] “So if only were we to go back, in order to become Muslims!”
[Shua`ra 26:103] Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers.

16, [Qasas 28:62] On the day when He will call to them – He will therefore proclaim, “Where are those partners of Mine, whom you had assumed?”
[Qasas 28:63] Those against whom the Word will have proved true will say, “Our Lord! It is these whom we led astray; we led them astray the way we ourselves went astray; we are unconcerned with them and we incline towards You - they never worshipped us!”
[Qasas 28:64] And it will be said to them, “Call unto your ascribed partners” – so they will call unto them and they will not listen to them, and they will behold the punishment; if only they had obtained guidance!

17, [Saba 34:22] Proclaim, “Call those whom you assume (as Gods) besides Allah”; they do not own anything equal even to an atom either in the heavens or in the earth, nor do they have any share in them, nor is any one among them an aide to Allah.
[Saba 34:23] And intercession does not benefit before Him, except for one whom He permits; to the extent that when the fear is removed from their hearts by giving permission, they say to each other, “How splendidly has your Lord spoken!” They say, “All that He has proclaimed is the Truth; and He is the Supreme, the Great.”

18, [Fatir 35:12] And the two seas are not alike; this is sweet, very sweet and palatable – and this is salty, bitter; and from each you eat fresh meat and extract the ornament which you wear; and you see the ship cleaving through it, so that you may seek His munificence, and in some way become grateful.
[Fatir 35:13] He brings the night in a part of the day and He brings the day in a part of the night; and He has subjected the sun and moon; each one runs to its fixed term; such is Allah, your Lord – only His is the kingship; and those whom you worship instead of Him do not own even the husk of a date-seed.

19, [Yaa-Seen 36:22] “And what is the matter with me that I should not worship Him Who created me, whereas it is towards Him that you are to return?”
[Yaa-Seen 36:23] “What! Shall I appoint Gods other than Allah? So that if the Most Gracious should wish me any harm, their intercession would be of no use to me, nor would they be able to save me?”

20, [Zumar 39:43] What! Have they chosen intercessors against Allah? Proclaim, “What! Even if they do not own anything nor have any intelligence?”
[Zumar 39:44] Proclaim, “To Allah only* belongs all the intercession! For Him only is the kingship of the heavens and the earth; and then it is towards you have to return.” (*Allah does not intercede – He gives the permission to intercede with Him, to whomever He wills.)
[Zumar 39:45] And when Allah the One God is mentioned, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter get constricted; and when others (false deities) besides Him are mentioned, they rejoice!

21, [Momin 40:47] And when they will quarrel amongst themselves in the fire, those who were weak will say to those who sought greatness, “We were your followers, so will you reduce from us some of the punishment of the fire?”
[Momin 40:48] Those who were proud will say, “We are all in the fire - indeed Allah has already passed the judgement among the bondmen.”

22, [Momin 40:73] It will then be said to them, “Where are the partners you used to appoint?” -
[Momin 40:74] “As rivals to Allah?” ; they will say, “We have lost them - in fact we never used to worship anything before!”; this is how Allah sends the disbelievers astray.

23, [Najm 53:23] They are nothing but some names that you have coined, you and your forefathers - Allah has not sent any proof for them; they follow only guesses and their own desires; whereas the guidance from their Lord has come to them.

24, [Najm 53:26] And many an angel is in the heavens, whose intercession does not benefit the least unless Allah gives permission for whomever He wills, and whom He likes.

THIS IS OUR CHALLENGE TO Zakir Naik/IRF AND THE WHOLE TEAM
None of the above quoted by the idiots answers the question.

We give you time till the day of judgement or till the day you will have your soul to answer the lie, which you stated that "There are 25 verses in the Quran which prohibits Waseela"

Did Imaam Ibn Kathir actually write a book on Mawlid?

Some misguided followers of Islam claim that the student of Ibn Thaymiya, Imaam Ibn Kathir didnt write a book on Mawlid, but guess they are wrong!!

Ibn Kathir's Book of Mawlid

Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Raheem
We are currently in the process of translating the book Dhikr Mawlid Rasulullah sallallahu 'alayhi was-salam wa Rida'atihi li ibn Kathir. Written by Shaikh ul-Islam 'Imaduddin Ibn Kathir, a follower of talmeez ash-Shaikh Taqi ad-Din Ibn Taymiyya.
The book consists of 31 pages. We obtained a copy from the Library of University of Princeton, between the many manuscripts there where it was kept in collection under number 4098. Collection 4098 has sixteen different important manuscripts, with "Dhikr Mawlid Rasulullah" being one of them.
That book was written by Ibn Kathir who is a vey well-known scholar from the Salafi school and who was a student of the main Imam and founder of the Salafi school Shaikh ul-Islam, Taqi ad-Din Ibn Taymiyya. When he died, Shaikh Ibn Kathir was buried beside his shaikh, Ibn Taymiyya in the Sufi cemetery in Damascus (al-maqbirat is-sufiyya fi Dimashq).

On the first page of the manuscript, Ibn Kathir says he wrote the book at the request of one of the muadhineen (adhan callers) in the mosque al-Muzaffari in Damascus, mosque of the Hanbalis, in the Salihiyya District --the mosque built by Muzaffar ad-Din Kawkaburi. It was known in Damascus as Jami'a al-Hanabila. At that time Ibn Khallikan, the historian, described the Mawlid of the Prophet (s) as a big celebration, which all scholars of the time used to take as a national holiday and a religious, holiday including Ibn Taymiyya and Ibn Kathir. In that mosque was happening a big ceremony for the mawlid. Therefore the muadhins of that mosque, ash-Shaikh 'Imad ud-din Abi Bakr and the Shaikh Badruddin Hassan asked Ibn Kathir to write a book about the permissiblity of Mawlid in Islam.

Being a talmeez (follower) to his shaikh, Ibn Kathir felt it necessary to ask his shaikh's permission for writing such a book. He asked Shaikh Ibn Taymiyya, if he had permssion to write it. Shaikh Ibn Taymiyya gave him permission and encouraged him to do that. This manuscript tells us that Ibn Kathir and Ibn Taymiyya, the great scholars of Islam, were giving permission and authorizing reading of the remembrance of the Mawlid ash-sharif.

In order for the general public to understand, Ibn Kathir wrote it in a very easy language and he included in it what is good to be done in the remembrance of theMawlid of the Prophet (s), specifically the poetry, the seerah and what is to be said.
Ibn Kathir says in this book, on page 19:
"The Night of the Prophet's (s) birth is a magnificent, noble, blessed and holy night, a night of bliss for the Believers, pure, radiant with lights and of immeasurable price."
--Shaikh Hisham Muhammad Kabbani

Author: ‘Imad ad-Din Abu’l-Fida Isma'il ibn Kat

Publisher: Turath Publishing

Pages: 52

This book, which is a lesser known work of Imam Ibn Kathir, seeks to present the circumstances surrounding Quraysh and ‘Abd al-Muttalib, the grandfather of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), some of the premonitory dreams and oracular announcements of his coming, and the birth itself and early years of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), some of his outstanding merits and noble qualities of character, and traditions relating to his high position as the Chosen One (Mustafa) and Beloved (habib) of Allah and Seal of the Messengers of Allah. The author’s careful choice of traditions and his sifting the original material from the earliest sources is here reinforced by the modern editors of the text and their judicious checking and assessment of the traditions cited.

Ibn Kathir

About Hafiz Ibn KathirHe was Emaad Ed-Deen Isma'eel Ibn 'Umar Ibn ibn Katheer , originally from Busra (Syria) – and raised in Damascus. He followed the Shafi`ee school of thought. Ibn Kathir was born in the year 700 AH or little later in an area called Majdal, near Busra, west of Damascus. His father died when he was only four years old and was taken in by his brother and moved to Damascus in 706. Here, he learned from great scholars such as Ibn Asakir, Ishaq ibn Yahya al-Amudi and the great Ibn Taymiyyah who was extremely close to him. He also studied under various other sheikhs who gave him permission in fiqh and Hadith. He made many academic contributions to Islamic sciences.
He made many academic contributions to Islamic sciences. The following are amongst his most prominent:

Lame excuses of the Salafis

Did Ibn Katheer Author a Book Endorsing the Mawlid?

From ‘al-Qawal al-fasl fee al-Ihtifaal bi Mawlid Khayr al-Rusul’ (pg. 110+) of Shaykh Ismaa’eel al-Ansaaree: As for the claim of the author of the letter published in the magazine ‘al-Mujtama’ (no.559), while listing the authors who considered the celebration of the Mawlid to be permissible and their works (concerning this), that the author of ‘Kashf al-Dhunoon fee Usaamee al-Kutub wa al-Funoon’ mentioned on page 319 that al-Haafidh ibn Katheer authored a number of treatise concerning the noble Mawlid. From amongst them: ‘Jaami al-Aathaar fee Mawlid al-Nabiyy al-Mukhtaar’ in three volumes, ‘al-Lafdh al-Raa’iq fee Mawlid Khayr al-Khalaa’iq’ and it is succinct. And his claim that ibn Fahd mentioned that ibn Katheer authored a book which he entitled, ‘Mawrid as-Saadee fee Mawlid al-Haadee.’ And his saying that al-Haafidh as-Sakhaawee had a book concerning the Mawlid entitled, ‘at-Tibr al-Masbook fee Dhail as-Sulook’ – then all of this is a grievous error having no basis for being correct. As for ‘Jaami al-Aathaar fee Mawlid al-Nabiyy al-Mukhtaar’ then we looked up ‘Kashf al-Dhunoon’ to ascertain the truth of his words and we found it under the letter ‘jeem’ (pg.533) and the text is, ‘Jaami al-Aathaar fee Mawlid an-Nabiyy al-Mukhtaar of Shams ad-Deen Muhammad bin Naasir ad-Deen ad-Dimishqee, died in the year 842, being in three volumes commencing with the words, "all praise is due to Allaah Who displayed Muhammad as the most purest of the Universe…"
And we found under the letter ‘laam’ page 1559 the words, ‘al-Lafdh al-Raa’iq fee Mawlid Khayr al-Khalaa’iq’ a short booklet by al-Haafidh Shams ad-Deen Muhammad bin Naasir ad-Deen ad-Damishqee who died in the year 842.’
And we found under the letter ‘meem’ page. 1910 the words, ‘al-Haafidh as-Sakhaawee mentioned in his ‘Daw al-Laami’ a group who wrote concerning the Mawlid of the Prophet (SAW) from amongst them al-Haafidh… ibn Naasir ad-Deen ad-Damishqee who authored in this regards ‘Jaami al-Aathaar fee Mawlid an-Nabiyy al-Mukhtaar’ in three volumes and a booklet ‘al-Lafdh al-Raa’iq fee Mawlid Khayr al-Khalaa’iq’ and it is shorter than the one mentioned before it…’
As for ‘Mawrid as-Saadee fee Mawlid al-Haadee’ then the claim of the author of that article that ibn Fahd attributed it to ibn Katheer is without basis for ibn Fahd said in ‘Lahdh al-Alhaadh bi Dhail Tabaqaat al-Huffaadh’ (pg. 320-321) under the biography of ibn Naasir ad-Deen ad-Damishqee, ‘he authored, and some of them concerned the Mawlid of the Prophet (SAW) and it is ‘Jaami al-Aathaar fee Mawlid al-Mukhtaar’ in three volumes, and ‘Tawdeeh al-Mushtabah’… and ‘Mawrid as-Saadee fee Mawlid al-Haadee’…..’ And this which is mentioned by ibn Fahd is declared with certainty by as-Sakhaawee and ash-Shawkaanee…. So it becomes clear with all of this that the claims of the author of that article published in ‘al-Mujtama’ magazine has no basis.
Then what ibn Katheer mentions in the section on the Prophetic biography in his ‘Bidaayah wan Nihaayah’, and in his lengthy ‘Seerah’ and in the sections of ‘Ikhtisaar Seerah ar-Rasool’, and in his stand alone treatise on the Mawlid published with the tahqeeq of Salaah ad-Deen al-Manjad, and in his revision to the Mawlid of his shaykh Kamaal ad-Deen Abee Ma’aalee Muhammad bin Alee al-Ansaaree contained in the section detailing ‘Dalaa’il an-Nubuwwah’ in his ‘Bidaayah wan Nihaayah’ – he does not present anything in these concerning the celebration of the Mawlid of the Prophet (SAW) and neither of the evil practices that have occurred amongst the later generations with respect to the Mawlid. Therefore as long as the matter is like this then we cannot accept the claim of the author of that article. [fn: and what Muhammad bin Alawee al-Maalikee vainly thinks in his work ‘al-Ihtifaal bi Mawlid an-Nabawiyy ash-Shareef’ (pg. 38) that the ‘Mawlid’ of al-Haafidh ibn Katheer is from those works that present celebrating the Mawlid of the Prophet is not correct.]
As for the saying of the author of that aricle that as-Sakhaawee authored a book about the Mawlid entitled ‘at-Tibr al-Masbook fee Dhail al-Sulook’ then this is also incorrect… as-Sakhaawee said in his autobiography contained in ‘Daw al-Laami li A’yaan al-Qarn at-Taasi’ (8/17) while listing his works, ‘and ‘at-Tibr al-Masbook fee Dhail alaa Taareekh al-Maqreezee as-Sulook’ containing the events and deaths (of scholars) since the year 45 to this day in 4 volumes’ so this is what as-Sakhaawee himself clarifies and it is clear that the subject matter of the book is not the Mawlid even though it may contain things connected to the Mawlid.
