Ismail menk says
our Beloved Sallahualahi wasallim who has Jealousy, deception, pride,
badqualities & hatred in his heart!!!
Please watch from 14:00 onwards
Our response
How can a human being who was sent as a Mercy to the
universe…who was free from all defects…who taught others not to be Jealous or
have hatred t anyone else..the master of humanity.
The noble companion from the Banu Najjah tribe which was
known for their exceptional skills in poetry, Seyeduna Hassan ibn Thabith said
Wa ahsanu minka lam tara qattu aini
Wa ajmalu minka lam talidin nissa'u
Khuliqta Mubarra' an min Kulli aibin
Ka-anna-ka qad khuliqta kama tasha'u
And I have never seen anyone more strikingly handsome than you
And no women ever gave birth to anyone
more nobler than you
O Holy Prophet! You have been created free from all defects
It is indeed as if you have been created just as
you wished.
Looking at the lines “O Holy Prophet! You have been
created free from all defects” refers to the physical appearance of his beauty
& of his “Akhlaq” as his nature of behavior was such excellent that even
there was no defect in him, Sallahualahi wasallim
Allah says in the Quran :-
And indeed, you are upon a noble conduct, an exemplary
manner (Al-Qalam 68/4).
Another Hadith quotes as بعثت لأتمم مكارم الأخلاق “The only reason I have
been sent is to perfect good manners."
In yet another hadith he said:
"I command you to be of good akhlaaq,"
The Prophet sal Allaahu alayhi wa sallam also said:
أكمل المؤمنين إيماناً أحسنهم خلقاً
"The people (or the Mu'mins) who have perfected their eeman most perfectly, are those who are
best in akhlaaq."
And in another narration:
"The best of the Mu'mineen are the ones who are best in their
akhlaaq."
Response to Mufthi Ismail Menk on the matter “cleaning
the black spot” from the heart of Sallahualahiwsalliim, as explained by the
Lebanese Shaf’i scholar Shaykh Gibril Haddad quoting from the Mujaddid Imaam
Thaqiuddin Subuki Rahimahullah as follows
“The closest text to this issue is probably the
following explanation of the hadith of the removal of the black clot from the
heart of the Prophet, ( upon him be peace). I came across this beautiful passage in Ibn al-Subki’s
Tabaqat al-Shafi`iyya al- Kubra (10:266-267):
“I heard my father – Allah have mercy on him – say,
when he was asked about the black clot that was removed from the heart of the Prophet – Allah bless
and greet him – in his childhood, at the time of the splitting of his breast,
and the statement of the angel to him, ‘This is Satan’s lot from you (hâdhâ
hazhzh al-shaytâni minka)’:
<<This clot Allah created in the hearts of
human beings as naturally fit (qâbilatan) for whatever Satan casts into it and
it was removed from his heart – Allah bless and greet him – so that no place
remained in it fit for anything Satan could cast. This is the meaning of the
hadith. There was no lot for Satan in the Prophet whatsoever. What the angel
threw out was only a matter present in all human constitutions. That capacity
was removed but its presence did not [in the first place] necessitate that
anything had been cast into the heart. If you asked, “Why was that capacity
created in that noble person when it was possible to create it without it?” I
say, Because it is part of the human constituents. So its creation is part of
the completion of human creation and is indispensable, while its removal is a
Divine command that took place later on.>>
The writer of these lines heard another moving explanation of the “black clot
removal” related from the great Imam Ahmad Rida Khan, namely, that the clot
consisted in the portion of the disbelievers at whose eternal doom, had it not
been removed, the Prophet (upon him blessings and peace) would have felt
unbearable mercy on the Day of Judgment because he was created and sent as a
mercy for the universes. Even so, the Prophet shall include them in his
intercession at the time all creatures stand in wait under the sun for the
Judgment to begin! So Blessings and peace on the Prophet, his Family, and his
Companions until the end of time and for all eternity. “

Mufthi Ismail Menk says, As per the
verse “ عبس وتولى Abasa Watha
Walla…” referring to SallaLLAhu alaihi wasallim being reprimanded
by Allah
Our response
Did Allah
reprimand his beloved Messenger Sallallahu alaihi wasallam? When the Aqeedha of Ahlus sunnath
wal Jama is based on one if its principals that The Prophets are Ma’sooms, which means
they are
·
Free from committing sins
·
Protected from committing sins
·
Innocent in committing sins
Regarding Abasa....
[Abasa 80:1] He frowned and turned away.
[Abasa 80:2] Because the blind man had come in his august
presence.
[Abasa 80:3] And what do you know, he may be of the pure!
the belief of the
Christian faith is that their Messengers of God do commit sins. It is the
belief of the Muslims that our Messengers are Ma’sooms ie; they are protected from sins
Why do Prophets not commit sins?
It is because
they are the chosen & guided ones by Allah & the belief of Ahlus sunath wal Jama is that,
Allah will not take a deviant or a sinner to guide people on the true path. If
a deviant or a sinner is taken into as a guide, then this will make the
followers to follow that particular Prophet & commit mistakes as well because
its upon each & every nation to follow the Sunnahs or the actions of their
prophet! Because
When a Prophet commits sins… their followers
too would follow the same sunnah assuming
they will rewards through them.
Now this doesn’t make sense because, How can you follow a deviant action to
receive blessings?
****
This is why we
firmly believe that every messenger was perfect & what was testified for
those messengers as errors are classified as a learning or a method of how to
understand what should be done when such happens, consider the following
examples.
·
No one can accuse that Nabi Adham Alahisalam did a
mistake but its understood that when you do a mistake seek Isthigfar for your
actions, as it’s the Sunnah of Seyeduna Adham Alahisalam
·
No one can accuse our sallahualahiwasallim who showed
sajadha Sahwu’ in Salath out of forgetfulness, because this action was there to
show us ( his followers & the sahaba kiram) that when you forget something
in Salath, then perform Sajadha Sahwu
Our response on عبس
“Abasa wa thawalla”
Similarly the incident of “Frowning & turning away”
was, as a matter of fact, a lesson taught by Sallallahu alaihi wasallam that we
shouldn’t do as such, and this can be
considered as a point given us to ponder over.
To make it much clear, lets read Surah
An-Najm ourselves:
{1} By the star when it sets!
{2} Never
did your master stray nor did he ever leave the right path.
{3} And he
does not say anything by his own desire.
{4} It is
but a divine revelation, which is revealed to him.
Now if one carefully looks at the verses , he may understand that, all the actions of Sallallahu
alaihi wasallam was indeed revelations ( ie; Wahi)! Such revelations result in
the blessed actions of Sallallahu alaihi
wasallam
Therefore, using
few’ quranic’ verses without understanding the inner meanings, one cannot argue
or point at Sallallahu alaihi wasallam that
he was at faults. rather it was the revelation upon which
Sallallahu alaihi wasallam’s actions result in as per the above Quran verse.
Regarding the fact “PROPHETS OF ALLAH ARE MA’SOOM (UNABLE TO
SIN)
“please refer to our post here

Our Response
In Light of Qur'an
Translation: (7): While he was in the
highest part of the horizon.(8): Then he approached and came closer
(9): And was at a distance of but two bow-lengths or (even) nearer. (10):
So did (Allah) convey the inspiration to His Servant- (conveyed) what He
(meant) to convey. (11): The (Prophet's) (mind and) heart in no way
falsified that which he saw. (12): Will ye then dispute with him
concerning what he saw? [Al Qur'an, Chapter 53, Verse 7-12]
In the 12th verse our Lord Almighty is challenging the
whole world that “WILL YE THEN DISPUTE WITH HIM CONCERNING WHAT HE SAW”, had it
been seeing Gabriel only then that would not have been a great challenge
because previous Prophets like Musa Kaleem-Ullah (Peace be upon him) had the
privilege to talk “DIRECTLY WITH ALLAH” and Ibrahim (alaih salam) was shown the
kingdoms of Heaven which was a far superior thing than seeing Gabriel, hence
from Nass of Qur'an it now becomes established that vision of Allah was finally
reserved for Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) as hadith of Ibn Abbas (RA)
and many others prove it (Which shall come in the hadith section of this
article)
Let us see the detailed Tafsir of these verses by Imam
Ibn-ul-Jawzi (rah), he explains the 8th and 9th verses in light of Sahih
ahadith and Aqwaal
Translation: There are three famous sayings
regarding the saying of Allah i.e. Then he approached and came closer
First: That is Allah Azza wajjal as it is narrated by
Bukhari and Muslim in “Sahihayn” the hadith from Sharik
bin Abi Numayr who heard from Anas bin Malik (ra) who said: The Irresistible,
the Lord of Honor and Majesty approached and came closer till He was about two
bow lengths or (even) nearer [Sahih Bukhari Hadith # 7518, Sahih Muslim Hadith
# 162]
...and It is narrated by Abu Salama from Ibn Abbas (ra)
that {He approached} refers to Allah coming near, this is adopted by Maqatil
(rah) who said: Allah came near to Muhammad (Peace be upon him) on the night of
Isra And was at a distance of but two bow-lengths or (even) nearer, however It
is written in the book Al Mughni that this coming nearer does not refer to
coming closer in sense of bodies nor distance as that is the case with bodily
creations and Allah is High of such thing being attributed to him.
The Second: That It was Muhammad (Peace be upon
him) who went near Allah, this is said by Ibn Abbas (ra) and Qurzi(ra) too.
The Third: It was Gibril and there is Kalaam in
this Qawl.. (Then Ibn Jawzi shows the opinion of Sahaba like Sayyidah Aisha -
RA who were of the opinion that Prophet - Peace be upon him did not see Allah,
why Sayyidah Aisha - RA believed such and how other Sahaba differed with her
shall be explained in detail Insha'Allah)

Tafsir, Volume No. 8, Page No. 65-66
The Shafi’ scholar Shaykh Gibril Haddad
explains this verse as
According to Ibn Mas`ud and `A’isha
radhiallahu ta’ala anhum it is Jibril. According to Ibn `Abbas, Abu Dharr,
Anas, Abu Hurayra, and `Abd al-Rahman ibn `A’ish radhiallahu ta’ala
anhum it is Allah Most High. The
latter is the position of the majority of the Salaf, and Allah knows best.
Qur'an states at another place:
Translation: And when Musa (Moses) came at the
time and place appointed by Us, and his Lord (Allah) spoke to him; he said:
"O my Lord! Show me (Yourself), that I may look upon You." Allah
said: "You cannot see Me (Qur'an states: LAN TARANI NOT LAN URA),
but look upon the mountain; if it stands still in its place then you shall see
Me." So when his Lord appeared to the mountain , He made it collapse to
dust, and Musa (Moses) fell down unconscious. Then when he recovered his senses
he said: "Glory be to You, I turn to You in repentance and I am the first
of the believers."[Al Qur'an, Surah 7, Verse no 143]
In the world renowned Tafsir al Jalalyn (written by 2
great scholars Imam Jalal ud-din Suyuti and Imam al-Muhalli) it states:
Translation: {You shall not see Me},which means
you do not have the capability to see me THE USE OF THE WORDING (LAN TARANI)
RATHER THAN LAN URA (I.E. I SHALL NOT BE SEEN) IMPLIES THAT IT IS POSSIBLE TO
SEE ALLAH {But gaze at the mountain} which is stronger than you are, {And
if it stands still in its place} then you shall see Me’, that is, [then] you
shall remain fixed [able] to see Me, otherwise, you will not have the capacity
[for it]. {And when his Lord revealed (His) glory to the mountain} i.e. When he
manifested his light, equivalent to half a nail of little finger as this is
mentioned in the sahih hadith of Hakim

Mufthi Ismail Menk the Prophet Sallallahu alaIhi wasallAm was not aware of china & adDs humor to the
Hadith!
Our Response
This was taken up seriously at the All Ceylon Ahlus sunath wal Jama Aqeedha conference in
2013 in Colombo
Our response
Mufti Menk, Wake up & check this
hadith!
Volume 9, Book 92, Number 378:Sahih Al
Bukhari
Narrated Said bin Al-Musaiyab:
Abu Huraira said that Allah's Apostle said, "I have been sent with
'Jawami-al-Kalim ' (the shortest expression with the widest meaning) and have
been made victorious with awe (cast in my enemy's hearts), and while I was sleeping,
I saw that the keys of the treasures of the world were placed in my hand."
Abu Huraira added: Allah's Apostle has gone, and you people are utilizing those treasures, or
digging those treasures out." or said a similar sentence. (Sahih Al
Bukhari)
Now Mufti Menk
When
·
Sallallahu alaihi wasallam was
sent for the entire Universe
·
Who sent Sahabas on Dawah to many parts of
the world, including sending Seyeduna Sa’ad bin Abi Waqqas
radhiallahu anhu to China!
How the Prophet
(s.a.w) who spoke about Israel, fighting of Armageddon, and 1000s of other
wisdom did not know China?
What made you think so Mufthi Menk?
How you dare to say that
Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam
didn’t know about the China when he was sent as a Rasool to the entire
creation while accepting the narrator of the Hadith knew China but not the
Prophet Sallahualaihiwasallim who told the Hadith? To make fun of a Hadith?
Mu’aawiyah ibn Haydah رضي الله عنه said: “I heard the Prophet صلى الله
عليه وسلم say: “Woe to the one
who talks to make the people laugh and tells lies, woe to him, woe to him.”
[Sunan al-Tirmidhee (2315) and Sunan Abu Dawood (4990) and graded as “Hasan” by
Shaikh al-Albaanee].
Please note that
the Salafi self claimed Muhaddith also accept this Hadith!!
More evidences on China, We would recommend
you to read the analysis of this
particular Hadith which is presented by Shaykh Gibril F Haddad as
The Hadith "Seek Knowledge as far as China" has been graded Hassen mashour as explained by the
popular master of science of Hadith Dr. Shaykh Gibril F Haddad
"Seek knowledge even as far as China."
Hadith HASAN MASHHÛR - "fair, famous." Note: Applied to a hadith, the
term mashhûr refers to a type of ahad narration that has five to nine narrators
at each link of its chain and is therefore nearly mass-narrated. Note that this
is not an index of its authenticity as a mashhûr hadith may be either sahîh,
hasan, or da`îf. Also, the label of mashhûr is sometimes given to merely famous
narrations which are not nearly-mass-narrated.
